is there a ghost in my house?

the world of fashion and style has fascinated me since i was in grade 3 and wore a pair of black pants with a cheetah printed cuff, along with a black vest with a cheetah printed collar, black is still my go to colour in clothing, however my pairings have matured, but only slightly. i have been an avid sewer since i was in grade six, and wore a-line striped knee length skirts, i still love skirts, however the hemlines have gotten shorter. I have taken every sewing and fashion class available at my school, which is an impressive amount considering i went to a public school for all of my high school years. my high school career is over and i will be a first year fashion communications student at ryerson university in the fall. this blog is a way for me to re-define myself from high school kristina to fashion student kristina.
fashion is my first love, but not my only love. american history fascinates me, and politics excite me.
but as this is a fashion blog i feel i should represent myself through the style and the people who have inspired my to be fearless every morning when i pick out my outfit.
thats a lie, i pick out my outfits at night, i do not begin to function until i have been awake for a solid hour.
i am a bit of an insomniac, its not that i physically can sleep, its just that my best dreams happen when i am awake.
at the end of the day i have though about starting a blog for about a year, but i have always found reasons not to.
recently someone said,
if you look for a reason to not do something you will always find one, the key is to not look.
now i took this to heart, and here i am.
i know i dont have the best clothes, or most original fashion sense,
but i know that i can offer something to the virtual world,
so here it is
